| Hey, definitely been a while....
I've made some new blogs. Please check them out and add me, dearest friends. <3
new livejournal & new xanga
| Spring is here. Only a few more weeks until school is over and I graduate. Then summer; I want this summer to be the most fun. Then college.
Contrary to how I felt before about living in a dorm next year, I'm actually really looking foward to it now. I've been making a list of things I plan to bring with me. I fantacize about how the room will look and how neat and organized I plan on keeping my things. I just hope I don't get an annoying roommate.
I'm actually kind of stubborn when I think about making new friends next year. Most of me thinks, "I already have my friends and they're the coolest ever. Back off, I have them and I don't need you!" Two of my closest friends are attending North Central with me, so it will be no problem staying close to them. Staying close with Christina and Tom is a no-brainer as they'll both be letters and phonecalls away. And then I'm sure I'll be in touch with other people that matter to me. But I guess I'll have to make some friends while I'm at college..

| Spring break is over. Boo.

An old coach we once had, Coach Tou, showed up at our game verses Romeoville today. I was glad to see her. Haha, little asian woman. We exchanged some words....
+
"Ew, Alvarez, you're sweating. I never sweat. And I never smell. Wipe yourself off."
+
Me: (to Christina) All I have is French homework tonight. Tou: Who's your teacher? Me: Ms. Bratkovich. Tou: Mademoiselle or Madame now? Me: Mademoiselle. Tou: Man, what's she waiting for? Me: She's a lesbian. :D Tou: ....oh. That explains a lot.
+
Tou: (to me and Christina) You know, you guys were on the list of about five girls we were thinking of cutting from tryouts your freshman year. Me and Christina: o_o;; ..really? Tou: (grin) Nah........just kidding. (later) Tou: Yeah, we were thinking of cutting you because you guys didn't have the power. But you worked hard and were dedicated, and it's paid off.

Coach Tou was itching to whack some birdies. So she hit with us; that was nice of her. ....yeah, it was nice that we saw her.
| Senior research paper = done. Rock on. :D

So, our badminton season has been seriously messed with. Due to a pipe burst that flooded Joliet Central's wooden gym floors with two inches of water, our playing courts have been destroyed by warped wood. So we moved practices and matches over to West, which is fine and good, except that West is ill-equipped for having matches let alone practice, with only 4 legal courts. Well, we eventually got past that; I nearly wet myself with happiness when I saw ten badminton courts beautifully taped down in the big West gym; I nearly fainted when I saw the new net equipment we would be using to set up courts. For a few shining seconds, I thought badminton at West would work out just fine. But then the nets that were ordered were too long, making them ridiculously difficult to set up correctly. Damnit.

"What are those ugly drawings of?"
Oh, wow. Ouch. Still, it's probably the most honest opinion I've gotten regarding my "artwork." And for that, I can't get angry. I'm thankful.

It's only Monday. And oh, do I want it to be Friday so bad. I want spring break right now. Immediately.
| I'd talk about my life but you'd all be bored to tears. :D
So I'm going to think of some interesting stuff to say soon, simply because I enjoy blogging. Yes I do.
